Agreement promises more than 30,000 tourists and 400,000 overnight stays per year

The agreement between TUI and Holiday World will run until 2018.
International tour operator TUI and the Holiday World hotel complex in Benalmádena have joined forces once again by renewing an agreement that represents dizzying figures in terms of tourist arrivals. The agreement signed by the companies runs until March 2018, under which TUI will send more than 30,000 passengers per year to the hotel resort, which translates to 400,000 overnight stays per year for the Costa del Sol.
The decision to leave the agreement in place until 2018 will entail the arrival of around 120,000 passengers, or a total of 1.6 million overnight stays, through to the end of the agreement. The tour operator will bring tourists from around Europe, in particular from England, as reported by the communications department at Holiday World.
In doing so, the hotel complex located in Benalmádena faces a new challenge, adapting to the new requirements of European guests. The Holiday World resort is working hard to improve its services, opening a new US themed restaurant. In addition to modernising the furnishings of public areas, it has created a miniclub and added a terrace to the buffet restaurant.
”We are proud to sign this important agreement and promote our entire range of tourism products in China.
Furthermore, the complex has improved the speed of its WIFI network, with more modern, better connected spaces. Additionally, it has designed a room specifically with large families and its most important guests, children, in mind. This is no typical family room, as it now features additional spaces.
The agreement complements another collaboration agreement entered into in February with the Chairwoman of the Chinese Business Association in Andalusia, Leticia Chen, with a view to providing Holiday World with access to the Chinese market with health tourism, incentive travel and Chinese weddings, in addition to meetings and conferences.
The agreement reflects the growing interest aroused by Andalusia, and Malaga and the Costa del Sol in particular, in the Asian giant. The good climate and excellent communications are fundamental elements that have placed the Costa del Sol in the spotlight.
The CEO of the hotel complex, Francisca Peñarroya, underscored the agreement reached and its importance “We are honoured to sign this important agreement and promote our range of tourism products in China”.
