The Regional Government gives its recognitions to notable entities from Malaga
Over 400 people in the Edgar Neville Auditorium. Complete absence of any political squabbles. On the eve of Andalusia Day, the Regional Government put confrontation aside and dressed up to award the “M” for Málaga prizes. A consolidated range of awards, presented to three institutions that contribute to progress in the province: The Peñarroya Group, Europa Press and the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra. With the voice of a poet, the gala was directed by journalist Eva Encina, with the roles of impartial observers being played by the respective spokespeople of political parties represented at the institution.
“M” for Málaga takes advantage of practically everything, as well as its projection at an Andalusian level. This was highlighted by the president of the Regional Government, Elías Bendodo, in a speech that turned into a real exercise in eulogies. “Málaga is the perfect example of Andalusian due to its diversity and plurality, its efforts to make improvements and progress, and for being a land of opportunity open to investment and anybody who wants to live, work or rest here.”
