Holiday World and Vodafone commit to ‘Ready Business’

The Holiday World complex has signed a business agreement with Vodafone with a view to maintaining its commitment to innovation via mobile technology, known as ‘Ready Business’. This comprehensive telecommunications agreement makes Holiday World one of the first companies in the tourism sector to control its management processes using 4G technology with management software specific to the hotel industry and 100-MB broadband Internet access.
By signing this agreement, Holiday World has positioned itself at the forefront of companies on the Costa de Sol in terms of the introduction of such technological solutions geared towards the management of housekeeping and maintenance activities.
A single device is used to transfer NFC data, with the planning and completion of housekeeping tasks for each room at the complex then managed using a mobile app.
This initiative has provided Holiday World with an innovative way of going about its business, with various advantages such as real-time knowledge regarding the progress of housekeeping tasks, connection to maintenance teams and the optimisation of technological processes.
