Yesterday, around thirty local companies participated in a workshop organised by the CEM and the Malaga Provincial Council
Yesterday, the Business Confederation of Malaga (CEM) and the Provincial Council held a corporate social responsibility and profitability workshop as part of the project developed by both organisations on the theme of CSR. This initiative has seen the creation of the Provincial Socially Responsible Company Forum of Malaga, a scheme that seeks to pool activities and reinforce the commitment of the production system as a whole to its surroundings via CSR.
“The companies that form part of this forum share the conviction that profitability is compatible with sustainability and commitment to the surroundings of any organisation”, stated the CEM in its press release yesterday. This CSR reference group is formed by 30 companies from the local area (Abasthosur, Aertec, ANP Servicio de Prevención, Arelance, Farmaquímicas Sur, Financiera y Minera, Fissa Málaga, Hermanos Sánchez La Fuente, Holiday World (Grupo Peñarroya), HRCS, Lambda Soluciones de Gestión, Roadmap, Torcal Innovación y Seguridad, Xanit Hospital Internacional, Greenglobe Sypa, Limasa, BMC, A2 Paneque Catalán, Ingenia, Ecoavantis, Oasis Urbano, Attycas-Genus, Con Talento, ESIC, Métrica6, Equitas, Fundación Más Árboles, Doctor Watson, Lem3a and Cortebox).
The forum’s specific objectives are to: promote collaboration; contribute to the more widespread distribution of business values of ethics and responsibility; identify common challenges; and seek joint solutions on CSR matters.
