Remedios Miralles Linares, from Malaga, is the Best Human Resources director of the year

The winner of the award works as Human Resources director of the Peñarroya group and the Holiday World hotel chain

Remedios Miralles Linares, from Malaga and Human Resources director of the Peñarroya group and the Holiday World hotel chain, has been named the best Human Resources director of the year among companies with between 250 and 1000 employees.

She achieved this thanks to the “II Awards for the Best Initiatives and Female HR Talent by Adecco & DKV”, which awarded her a prize in the medium-sized company category in Madrid.

A highlight of the professional career of Remedios Miralles is the implementation of the “Family Friendly Entity” model, introduced into the Peñarroya Group’s people management system, which was recognised by ARHOE during the National Timetable Rationalisation Congress in Spain, 2014. In addition, emphasis was placed on Miralles’s commitment to implementing a culture of reconciliation in the organisation aimed at harmonising the professional and personal life of employees; this has placed the group in the top 25 companies that are committed to reconciliation.
